Captain of the Buggy Pirates. He joined in the Paramount War after a stint in Impel Down. After making it out alive, he regrouped with the Buggy Pirates, accompanied by the prisoners who helped him out of jail. The influx of new recruits made the crew a major group — large enough for the Government to send them a certain missive.

Notes:		Summary (as of April'19): Tier rank: Unique. Buggy is not intended to clear hard content. He is intended to help you farm easy ones. As such, it is pointless to compare him to any other legends or tiers, through considering his usefulness in limited circumstances, he can be seen as a 5/5. Captain ability: Unique. See above. Special: Below-average (2/5). As a sub, Buggy is rather weak - a so-so ATK boost for non-legends/TM units, and a random shuffle. Limit Break Above-Average (3/5). While his SA "Makes INT orbs beneficial for all characters" is mosty wasted considering his crappy special, his Pinch Healing and Barrier Penetration are quite helpful in some farming missions. Detailed review and other notes Unique captain, but pretty useless as a sub Better than Wicca, Baccarat Gran Tesoro Concierge or Swift-Saber Haruta because he GUARANTEES the extra treasure drop. Buggy won't clear tough missions, but he is an interesting challenge to build a team around for mid His SE is a straight upgrade, more or less. The loss of the random orb shuffle is irrelevant, but his CA becomes a bit better, allowing you to clear more content, so upgrade him ASAP if you want to use him Team building Sometimes it is ok to use an OP unit that is not boosted by Buggy's CA. In particular, this means super utility units like Legend Law v1, Legend Magellan, TM Luffy, and so on. A brief overview of costs: 6+ legends: 65, TM units: 60, regular 6 legends: 55, clash/ambush units: 50. Units you that Buggy will boost include 5+ RR like Germa kids, unevolved legends, coliseum units and everyone else :) Good units: Eustass Kid Red-Hair-Seeking Worst Generation wipes 4 stages and some bosses all by himself! Portgas D.
