Notes:

Summary (as of November'19): Tier rank: 4.5/5 (Excellent ). Great captain and a solid sub. Still one of the very best units in the game despite his age, certainly very coveted upon his release, Snakeman can clear virtually anything.

  • Captain ability: Excellent (4.5/5). 3.25x boost that becomes 4-4.25x on burst turns is so far top tier.
  • Special: Very good (4.5/5). A lot of nice effects, as long as you can hit those three perfects.
  • Limit Break Average (3/5). Forgettable stat boosts and such plus Pinch Healing.


Detailed review and other notes

  • His Captain Ability is a full upgrade of his previous form (pre-super evolution). Reducing your CD so you don't have to stall as much, giving a higher ATK boost in his base form, making 2 kinds of slots have matching effects for your crew instead of just 1, no longer requiring you to consume RCV orbs to get the full effect of his CA, and giving more than just himself a 4.25x boost.
    • However, overall he is rather a sidegrade. His type changes from QCK to STR, his classes change from Fighter/Free Spirit to Fighter/Powerhouse, his special changes from an ATK booster to a slot booster, and his special dmg changes from AOE to single target dmg.
    • He also loses his captain action which enabled him to get a 4x boost and 20% dmg reduction without using his special. And which was, let's face it, just fun to use.
  • Since he's a Powerhouse, you can use Zunesha if the rest of your crew is Powerhouse or Cerebral to make it easier to get the second turn of slot boost and the additional boost from his CA, plus all naturally occurring slots will count as matching while his special is in effect.
