Each day you can find five Transponder Snails, randomly scattered around the island navigation map (including Extra Isle). After clicking on a Transponder Snail, you'll be asked to tweet a message to your Twitter followers.
- If you chose no the snail will disappear but can be found somewhere else on that day.
- If you say yes, the game will tweet ad about your location in the game to all your Twitter followers. Upon completion, the game will reward you with one of the following items (odds estimated from this data , please add your statistics to refine it further):
- Meat: Rare (7%). It refreshes stamina. Or more precisely, it gives you back stamina points equal to your current max account, likely taking you over your maximum but stopping stamina regeneration until you go below your max. Also, you can only store stamina equal to twice your maximum amount. In other words: if your stamina limit is 100, you can store up to 200 stamina. Any excess is wasted. What that means in practice: after getting one meat, use the stamina. Getting two meats before using stamina results in losing some stamina, getting 3+ meats in a row is a total waste.
- Cola: 2 or 5 bottles (22%, 7%)
- Daimyo or Elder Turtles: You may receive any of the five colors (22%, 7%)
- Beli: 20,000 or 50,000 (22%, 7%)
- 5 Gems (<1%): Extremely rare!
During certain events, the odds of the above items or value may change. Double/increased odds of meat, beli, double, and cola events have all occurred. Other items like keys or pigs have also been available through the snails during such past events. Those special snails will have green, instead of the red, balloons (or swim rings, or party hats).
The snails may change locations after a battle. Once you tweet from the fifth one, no more snails will appear until the "New Day" message resets your daily allowance.
